Quote of the Day

The lockdown will clearly have a very significant impact on the economy including increased unemployment, lower government revenues and a higher level of national indebtedness.” Mel Stride, chairman of the House of Commons Treasury select committee, showing clearly that the political class see the economy as the issue rather than the numbers of people dying.
